In the second evening the Studio for New Music will present ballets that marked a new era in the art of the twentieth century: Erik Satie’s “Parade”, Manuel de Falla’s “The Three-Cornered Hat” and Darius Milhaud’s “Le Train bleu”. The productions were created for Diaghilev’s Russian Seasons and at their premières were presented with sets by Pablo Picasso. In the Studio’s project the music of the ballets will sound against a backdrop of video projections featuring reconstructions of Russian Seasons productions performed by EUROPA DANSE and GRAND OPÉRA.
