Studio for New Music soloists ensemble
The title of this year’s seminars — NEformat (“non-format”) — implies an emphasis on the timbral diversity of the contemporary ensemble, as well as various informal practices for the participants of the project. Instead of the “classical” line-up of Pierrot Lunaire (piano, flute, clarinet, violin, cello) or the full soloists ensemble, seminar participants are invited to work with non-standard chamber line-ups and experiment with different timbral combinations. In addition to lectures, the seminars will include new kinds of practical sessions developed by invited curators.
