“Another Space. Continuo”

A concert by the Studio for New Music as part of the “Another Space.
Continuo” subscription series. The programme features the Russian premiere of Luciano Berio’s Laborintus II
for instrumental ensemble, choir, female voices and tape, and Beat Furrer’s Concerto
for two pianos and orchestra Nuun. The climax of the evening and
of the Studio for New Music’s entire anniversary season is the world premiere of
Vladimir Gorlinsky’s “Towards the Light. A Journey through the Ensemble”. The work
was commissioned by the Studio as part of the Union of Composers of Russia project
“Notes and Quotas”. The premiere was performed with a lighting
score.
