In one of the workshops of a former ball-bearing factory, now turned into the DEX cultural space, Valery Gavrilin’s Chimes was performed as part of the “Spring Landscape Laboratory” of the Timeless Landscapes agency. The director Elizaveta Korneeva and the choreographer Ksenia Ternavskaya turned the 1981 choral symphony-action into an expressive mystery play about the destructive power of time, opposed by the indestructibility of eternal rebirth.
