The titles of contemporary musical compositions can make us smile\, intrigue us\, even irritate us. Sometimes a programmatic title hides a conceptual idea or the semantic core of the piece being played\, and sometimes it is merely a poetic association. The first concert of the Union of Composers’ festival “Five Evenings” will feature nine contemporary scores that invite listeners to embark on an unusual sonic journey. \n\n\n\n\n
