On 13 January the Studio for New Music ensemble presents the programme “Happy New Music”. The concert will conclude the large festival “New Year at the Conservatory”.
The programme includes music by Olivier Messiaen, Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, George Crumb, Gerd Kühr and others. The works chosen by the performers are not always connected with a New Year or Christmas theme. The musicians will present chamber music that does not fit the canonical notions of New Music and its creators, written at the meeting point of styles, genres and trends.
